Charu Sharma, CEO of the Bangalore Royal Challengers, Sacked
May 7, 2008
The poor run of the Bangalore Royal Challengers has started to take its toll.
The first man to be sacked is CEO Charu Sharma who has been asked to leave his position. His place will be taken by Brijesh Patel who is the secretary of the Karnataka State Cricket Association and a former India batsman.
The next man to go is Venkatesh Prasad, who is also the bowling coach of the Indian team.
The drastic steps were taken by Mallya after Tuesday’s game against Kings XI Punjab when they were bowled out for a mere 126 at home.
