Nude snap of Carla Bruni, France’s First Lady, to be auctioned
March 26, 2008
President Nicolas Sarkozy, renowned for his soap-opera love life and a fondness for “bling”, has been working on shedding his popstar image for a more statesmanlike one.
But now Christie’s auction house is set to sell a nude portrait of the president’s new wife, Carla Bruni, taken more than a decade ago when she was working as a model.
The Sarkozys are preparing for their highest-profile international visit yet – meeting Queen Elizabeth.
They will have a rare stay at Windsor Castle, the Queen’s favourite home and weekend retreat just west of London, a procession through Windsor’s streets in a horse-drawn carriage and a state banquet.
Ms Bruni-Sarkozy, 40, has even reportedly been working on her curtsying skills so she can greet the Queen, who turns 82 on April 21.

I don’t think he can be statesmanlike just by opposing Beijing olympics that to halfheartedly. So far no other country has joined him.

Bubble:
I happen to see with my limited eyes that the photo for auction is a work of art.
Seriously, look at the lighting, the backdrop, the lines…pretty darn good.
Peace.
